Last Friday, I went to our Realtors Meeting in North Myrtle Beach and did not realize that our Lieutenant Governor Andre’ Bauer was to speak…… He’s another reason to Celebrate South Carolina. WOW, I’m glad I voted for him. And, he’s the youngest Lt. Governor in the United States.
Interesting tidbit of information: There are a couple of hundred people over the age of 100 in the United States and 47 live in South Carolina. We have retirees moving to South Carolina everyday!

I remember when I worked in Columbia at the State Development Board, I worked with men in the real estate division like Bob Whitaker, Al Sutton, Virgil Porter, Caleb Whitaker, Ed Burgess. I didn’t realize that someday I would be in the real estate business myself. Bringing new business, industry, and people to our state was an important part of who we were back then and just as important today. I’m so glad I had the opportunity to work with the State back then and I’m glad I live in a state that believes we are the best and we want the best for the people who live here and those that are yet to come!
