Names like Starbucks (160 workers in St. Matthews), Adidas America, Inc. (1200 jobs expansion in Spartanburg County), Kraft Foods (1,000 jobs in Newberry County), and more listed in “SC brings in the business” article by Katy Stech of The Post and Courier, January 15, article:  http://www.charleston.net/news/2008/jan/15/s_c_bringing_business27584/ 

In the article, Joe Taylor, Commerce Secretary of SC, credits the state’s business-friendly policies and reaffirms that SC is a preferred location in which to do business.

We’re a great state and we’re ready to tell the world.  So let’s keep connected and tell the good news about our state.  You don’t have to be a South Carolinian but it might help.
